Test Story 7

OK...the RSS cron job is now sorted so every 6 hours the feed should be updated. Hopefully when I look later this post will be in the feed (crosses fingers). Also, the blog has improved and now displays the name of the user who posted correctly and gets the right category image up.

Just put together a script to auto update the RSS feed from the database. Here's hoping it works!

After some touch and go experimenting I've managed to work out enough PERL to get my blog half working. I now have the details on the blog page being taken directly from the database. It's not quite 100% how I want it but it's certainly a good start for now. Hopefully some further work tomorrow will... read more

OK...the basic design of the site is now complete. Most of the CSS at present just deals with the containers for presentation and so there's not much formatting for text and links and all the rest at the moment.
